Student Grants

A Scholarship application is available each year from Feb 1 to March 1. The local school Guidance Departments also get notification that a Scholarship for their students is available. An SSI Rotary Scholarship Awards Committee is formed each year by the Scholarship Chair to review the received applications and make Scholarship Awards based on the merits of the applications and the funds available.

The scholarship awards vary in number each year.  The club currently awards scholarships of $3000 per year for 4 years of undergraduate study ($1500 for each of the fall and spring semesters).

The College or University may be located in or outside the state of Georgia, and must be fully accredited.  Recipients are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, community service and other demonstration of personal character, as well as financial need.

The data below is provided by the Scholarship Foundation Treasurer.
