  District 6920 Rotarians:

It is time to start the District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND) selection process for the District Governor to serve during the years 2020-21 (to follow Mike Muldowney). The Guidelines call for the College of Governors to interview candidates the Friday before Thanksgiving, so the deadline for submission of applications is November 8, 2017.

Please be thinking of good candidates, and encourage qualified 6920 Rotarians to apply. If you are thinking of applying, I suggest you talk it over with any Past District Governor. It is an opportunity to see our district, own zone and our Rotary world from a ‘view’ unlike any other position within Rotary. You will have the opportunity to leave a legacy based on how you plan the Rotary year!

Please see the attached DGN application form, which should be submitted to me as iPDG, by Wednesday, November 8th. Note that the application requires your club’s endorsement. I look forward to receiving your application. Pamela Lightsey, iPDG
